ABOUT US
BillionaireBabies helps parents empower their children to learn the basics of entrepreneurship. Our plan at BillionaireBabies is to stimulate the creative juices of children, ages 3-23, so they develop the confidence and the skills to be able to start and maintain their own successful business and understand the value of money. Our program focuses on increasing self-esteem, establishing independence, and learning how to succeed.
Some time ago, looking at the global landscape, I realized that the only real solution to many people’s financial problems was to start and run a successful business. This is what I basically did. After years of working as a teacher, I was more or less transitioned into entrepreneurship. My efforts have not been futile. In fact, I have done quite well as an entrepreneur.
Early, when I began to seek outside help to clarify my methods and purposes, I began to search not just for an entrepreneurial route to make money, but for the perfect business for me. It was during this soul-searching period that the idea of BillionaireBabies was born. Its formulation was nurtured by speaking with Marshall Sylver, my mentor, about it over a period of time, and then after a meeting with Real Life Billionaire, Sir Richard Branson, I realized then that this project was coming from a very deep level inside me.
No matter where you live in this world, being able to run and own your own business is considered a great blessing even in nations, which have political doctrines that oppose private ownership of business. Since the fall of the Soviet Union, the interest of the world has clearly tipped in favor of free enterprise with pockets of free enterprise opening up in even the most repressed economies. Having the right to own your own business remains an indication of the ongoing blossoming of human liberty. When you think about it, being able to run your own business is a wonderful way to exercise freedom of expression and freedom of choice. This is what life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are all about.
What better way to teach your children the fundamental of human freedom than to provide them with an understanding of how to operate their own business?
Doing business is a form of expression and also a form of art. As Donald Trump said, “Deals are my art form. Other people paint beautifully on canvas or write wonderful poetry. I like making deals, preferably big deals.â€? Great entrepreneurs take great pride in their products and services whether it is a slice of sushi for a regular patron or a new bicycle for a walk-in visitor. They take pride in choosing their business, preparing their products and services, dealing with their customers, handling their record keeping and all the other intricacies that earning money entails.Â
This is one more reason to show your children how to run their business according to the rules of the real world. They will be able to measure their results more effectively, to prepare their products and services more expertly, to handle the advertising more seriously, and as a result, to grow in pride about what they do. Owning your own business that works is like having a great big Merit Badge that everyday rewards you for your efforts.
