Disc 1

This CD opens with a description of the background of founder, Linda Samuels, known as the “Money Hat Lady. Linda, a mother and grandmother, has launched five new businesses, including BillionaireBabies. BillionaireBabies was inspired by Abigail, her four-year old grandchild, has successfully started and run a gift bag business. CD includes other amazing testimonials from other children who have started their own business- from jewelry to car detailing to marketing websites. Linda goes over the wonderful consequences for children’s character from learning how to run a responsible, profitable business. She then covers the fundamentals of business for parents and their children and then describes the fundamental tool to be developed when starting a business, the business plan. She offers techniques for transforming the child, providing him or her with a can-do attitude towards success.

CD#2 - Mindset & Value (For Parents)

Disc 2

This CD is aimed at helping parents teach their children how to manage money, a subject that is unfortunately not taught in school. Building on the entrepreneurial mood developed in the first CD, Linda now goes into the freedom and character money can build for a child when they truly understand its worth. And, there is no better way to find the value of money than by earning it themselves in the right context with the right methods. She then goes into the kind of communication skills necessary to run a business. As anyone who has managed a business knows, one has to properly communicate with customers, vendors, advertisers, investors, a whole range of different types of people. Running a business takes more than just simply money management and communication skills; it takes a refined business mindset, a great deal of commitment and a willingness to set goals and work hard to achieve them. Linda describes various techniques to enhance both attitude and success in meeting one’s most precious goals.

CD #3 - The Entrepreneurial Executive (For Parents)

Disc 3

Linda fills in more about her background and why she has become so passionate about her mission to empower young people. She tells how she became a successful teacher and author of a book, "Girls Can Succeed in Science!" despite the early negative programming of her childhood. But, then, a traumatic event occurred in her personal life that more or less propelled her onto the path of entrepreneurship and self-discovery. She became an inventor and an entrepreneur. In 2006, her personal journey was ramped up when she became involved with Marshall Sylver’s mentorship and self-empowerment seminars. She had the good fortune to discuss her BillionaireBabies idea with Marshall and Sir Richard Branson. These experiences gave her clues as to the kind of messages we should be delivering to our children to push forward in a positive, can-do manner. BillionaireBabies gives both practical and motivational wisdom to take on the world.

CD #4 - The Business Plan (For Children)

Disc 4

This CD will help children learn how to create a business plan. If you haven’t really believed in the possibilities for your children when creating a business, you probably will now as you see how easy it is for children to “catch on to basic business principles and to participate in planning their own business. Here the children learn exactly how a business works even by learning the meaning of basic business terms like assets, liabilities, net worth, expenses and other important terms. Then, they create a business plan structured in the exact way an adult plan would be logically directed but customized for their age and the limitations of their experience. Yet, as far as child entrepreneurs go, their business plan will function to help them plan and launch their business in the real world. They comprehensively learn how a business must be structured for inventory control, financial record keeping, promotion and advertising, customer service and communications; everything they need to do to gain control over their business and make it happen.

CD #5 - Business Success (For Children)

Disc 5

In this CD, Linda addresses the challenges facing young entrepreneurs, especially the chief obstacle -- these are young people, very young people, not adults. In this case, there needs to be a resolve to dress, act, talk and promote the business in a professional way. She asks children to get into the habit of looking carefully at themselves and provides them with a platform for self-improvement. She teaches children techniques for addressing aspects of their lives they specifically want to change and solving the problems that have been preventing them from obtaining their goals. Most importantly, she teaches them to formulate an actual plan to take action on these areas of their lives. With proper goal-setting, planning and scheduling and an intelligent way to address obstacles in one’s way, children can actually learn to build a business, achieve success and create the kind of self-esteem that will lead them into a better future.

Script for CD #6 - Managing Money (For Children)

Disc 6

In this CD, Linda returns to a discussion of how to manage money, addressing children about the benefits of learning how to handle their finances. How do you make an estimate of how much money you can make in a certain business and how much money you have to spend to start up the business? How do you get the initial money? Do you borrow it? Do you save it up by working another job? How do you figure out your profit and, if you have actually made one, how much do you put back in the business, how much do you spend on yourself and how much are you willing to give back to the community? In short, Linda explains the basics of financial management and its implications for acting socially responsible, even with a relatively small amount of money earned by children in their own business.
